Winter Solstice Activation and Healing Light Ceremony

Within every creation of life is the seed of death.

It is the one known, the one constant: all that lives, must also die.

And this has always been the great fear of the patriarchy and born of their fear was the form of oppression that has since instilled itself on our planet for the past 5,000 years.

But before the rise of the patriarchy, there was the goddess. And the goddess recognized the cycles of life - the beautiful, rich cycles that allowed for new seeds of potential to be constantly sown and reaped.

The goddess knew that the dark held the seeds and the potential that would then always be birthed back into the light.

For within this vision of the cycles of life, the cycles of the moon, the cycles of the menses - there is only transition from one form to another. You go through thousands and thousands of cycles over the course of your life: the larger arc of your lifespan from birth to the release of your physical body; to cycles of relationships, jobs, experiences and more, some of which last for decades and some which last for only moments.

Each of these cycles is a gift.

And in every one of them, die offs occur in the darkness, the fallow time, the dark moon time.

Each birth is preceded by the dark because that is the time of restoration, the time of transformation, the period that allows for the phoenix to summon its strength so that it may rise in all of its power, in all of its glory.

And so it is with the Winter Solstice, which for thousands of years was celebrated as a transition - one from darkness to light. As the longest night of the year, it also heralded the return of the light.

This year, the 12:21 portal is especially potent.

Astrologically, Jupiter and Saturn are conjoining in the sign of Aquarius, the first time this has happened since 1405. This acts as a sign post for the age of Aquarius, as Jupiter/Saturn conjunctions portend massive political and societal shifts. This is an initiation and turning point in our collective consciousness.

Seriously, we’ve been navigating one of our most challenging eras to date.

The patriarchy is going through its die off phase and the soul of the goddess is rising as we move into the Age of Aquarius. Of course this will be big.

And because of this - so.much.needs.to.go - so that we may rise.

It is necessary to recognize which aspects of yourself are ready to reclaim their power as you step back into the light.

The patriarchy has been gaslighting us for 5,000 years, leading us to believe that Eve set the downfall of civilization into motion when she bit into the apple at the behest of the snake.

But Eve didn’t cause the downfall of man because there is no downfall of man.

There are only cycles and the Winter Solstice is a cycle of initiation, of birth, one that is riding on the tail end of a year of intense patriarchal upheaval.

So as you move through this cycle, as you prepare for this shift in energies, you get to determine:

What is it that you truly desire to birth?

What are you dawning?

What does your phoenix represent?

Thousands of years ago, in the Norse country, the followers of the goddess looked to Frigga at this time of the year. Frigga, the Sky Goddess, was responsible for weaving the clouds and the fates; she is a goddess of fertility and birth and a midwife of both birth and death, death and birth.

She labored all night to bring her son Baldur into the world. As the Sun God, the god of light, joy, purity, and the summer sun, Baldur always spoke the truth; he always spoke from the light.

And together, we will undergo this journey of moving away from the lies that have been told to us, away from the gaslighting of not being enough, of being born of sin, of being tarnished in any way.

During this journey, you will travel through the ages, releasing bonds of victimhood and the toxic shame that has been passed down over thousands of years. You will step away from the lies that have kept you in habituated patterns that undercut your gifts, your potential, your vibrancy.
